Description Michael Meeks 2008-10-07 10:15:56 UTC
I run:

  /usr/lib/YaST2/bin/y2controlcenter-gnome -S

and life is good; I then re-run it by clicking on the 'yast2' icon - and bong ! I get a nasty dialog full of scary warnings about CORBA / DBUS / gconf failure ;-)

Oh - I also get a nice scary warning of the form:

"An error occured while loading or saving configuraiton information for GNOME SuperUser. Some of your configuration settings may not work properly."

with a similarly scary warning ;-) when I just launch a yast2 app by itself: eg. install yast2-live-installer and click /usr/share/applications/YaST2/live-installer.desktop
