test page option disabled in printer properties from system-config-printer.  Its a network printer.

Is this the test button or self-test button?

Is your printer properly configured? (I guess yes)
Did you change the configuration? If yes, did you apply the changes before trying to print a page?
Is your printer enabled?

Both the print test page and print self-test page buttons are disabled.

Seems it is not enabled, at least it says "rejecting jobs" when I try to print via gedit.  A dupe of bug https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=437176 then?
