Bugzilla – Bug 436351
window positions not remembered (or reset) when starting GNOME
Last modified: 2008-12-13 02:00:25 UTC
In openSUSE 10.3 windows' positions (e.g. for gnome-terminal) were remembered correctly between sessions. In openSUSE 11.0, this is no longer the case. For example I have one gnome-terminal near the lower right corner of the desktop. When loggin in to GNOME, the window initially starts at the last position, but about at the time when the panel starts, the window moves near the upper left position of the screen. This is absolutely repeatable.
