Description Ludwig Nussel 2008-10-17 09:33:55 UTC
Upon startup firefox tries to lookup the system's host name via DNS. This causes long delays home user networks where e.g. the DSL router only forwards DNS traffic and doesn't know about hosts in the LAN. Firefox should not try to lookup the system's host name via DNS.

I already forgot that I filed the same bug for 11.0, bug 389255. Still present in 11.1.
