If I save a file in openoffice (3.0 too) it uses the old kde3 dialogue instead of kde4's one.

It does under 11.0? On Factory it doesn't even use the KDE3 one. Port to KDE4 is something only planned after 11.1 to my understanding.

Kendy understands the priority better than I, but this is currently fairly low priority.
