screenshot of scrambled suspend splashscreen

when i do a suspend to disk, the splashcreen is scrambled - see attached screenshot

reproduce:
- install vmware ws 6.5
- install opensuse 11.1 beta (should have vga=0x317 on kernel commandline afterwards)
- suspend (hibernate) - either from gnome or via commandline/s2disk

mind that fbcon and bootsplash looks ok - it`s just suspend splashscreen having issues.

Duplicate of bug 304995. As a workaround, removing /etc/fb.modes should fix it.
