Description Peter Nixon 2008-11-07 14:32:36 UTC
I have a lenovo 2000 V200 notebook running openSUSE 11.1beta4. I enabled the fingerprint reader from yast2 and entered a fingerprint both for my user and a different fingerprint for root. A short time later my KDE screen saver kicked in automatically and locked me out of my desktop. Entering my password no longer worked... I hard rebooted the notebook and tried to login via KDM however neither a fingerprint nor normal password allowed me to login. I killed kdm, disabled the fingerprint reader from yast2 and restarted kdm and am now once again able to login...
