pattern:xen does not install from 11.1-beta4 x64_64 DVD:

Hmm, I just did a verify and these are the packages that are missing on the x86_64 medium even though they are on the 

missing: udhcp

Interesting that you found exactly that one ;)

But I don't see why it's missing in openSUSE:Factory

ok, the devel project did not exist, this blocked it. Fixed now
