I just checked some of the source code in the Suse Linux factory package
kdetv-0.8.9-219.16 and I noticed the following

$ egrep "new|delete"  ../BUILD/kdetv-0.8.9/kdetv/kvideoio/v4ldev.cpp | fgrep _mbuf
    _mbuf = new struct video_mbuf;
    delete[] _mbuf;

The delete line look wrong.  Suggest new code like

    delete _mbuf;
    _mbuf = NULL;
