I've been struggling to get rid of beeps on the ThinkPad T60 (see bug 340657), and now grub started beeping in 11.1, and I can't even find a way to turn it off.

Setting severity to major, because with headphones this can lead to short term hearing damage (major loss of function ;-)

Really, beeps should always be turned off by default, and only enabled by explicit request from the user.

Will be removed after Beta5 (and kept only when booting the installation ISO)
