Last modified: 2008-11-14 20:15:54 UTC
In openSUSE 11.1 Beta5 any inserted CD media is neither detected nor auto-mounted. The following is the output from lshal -m when cd is ejected and then inserted. ----------------------------------------------------------- Start monitoring devicelist: ------------------------------------------------- 13:01:06.399: storage_model_CD_RW__CRX320EE property storage.removable.media_available = false 13:01:06.509: volume_part_1_size_628854784 removed 13:01:23.139: storage_model_CD_RW__CRX320EE property storage.removable.media_available = true 13:01:23.263: storage_model_CD_RW__CRX320EE property storage.cdrom.write_speeds = {'7056', '5645', '4234', '2822', '2117'} 13:01:23.461: volume_part_1_size_628854784 added ----------------------------------------------------------- This is seen with installations from both the KDE4 and Gnome live-CD's.
