Description Danila Sentiabov 2008-11-16 22:54:16 UTC
For now "Abort" button is virtually useless. As far as I think, "abort" should mean "immediately stop it". But if you try to press "Abort" in the middle of some large update - you'll have to click through many pop-up windows (two for each of remaining packages) and the only way to stop it is killing the corresponding process.

Maybe we need a new API in libzypp for aborting the whole transaction, I have to check this...

is the "abort" button supposed to cancel the currently installing software, or the whole transaction altogether.

If you press abort, and there are more packages to install, you will get an arror, even if you choose "retry"

for the moment there doesn't seem to be any way to abort "one" package and continue, and, of course, the above-mentionned issue also occurs
