Description John Lange 2008-11-21 14:46:21 UTC
When the screen saver lock is activated there is a button for "Switch User". Once clicked it should present with a list of users that can be switched to. However it appears that the screen saver lock and the user login both activate at the same time and flash back and forth corrupting the screen and other bizarre problems like dual mouse cursors and keyboard uncontrolled key repeating.

There is no escape from this other than ctrl-alt-del. I couldn't even get to the console (ctrl-alt-f1).

Sounds more like a desktop issue. Which desktop is this? Gnome, KDE3, KDE4? Anything else?

Sorry, I knew I forgot something important in that bug post. It is gnome.
