Description Alberto Passalacqua 2008-12-02 16:12:11 UTC
It would be nice to have the Broadcom STA drivers for the BCM4311-, BCM4312-, BCM4321-, and BCM4322-based wireless cards packaged and included in the package selection, maybe on non-OSS repository.

The driver is redistributable (the licence is in the archive, inside the "lib" subdirectory) and the source code is available from here:

http://www.broadcom.com/support/802.11/linux_sta.php

It includes a closed library, but it should be a similar situation to what Intel driver used to be before iwl. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Alberto
