when i was on 11.0 there was no problems

the HDD is a iomega 80gb with 1 powercord and 1 usbcord and a on/off bottom the only works when the usb is disconnected.

I can't mount my external hard disk either. I get the same messages in /var/log/messages

I also use 11.1 Final and could mount the same disk on 11.0. The disk still works on other computer with 10.3. My new computer is a 86-64 architecture, so this problem isn't limited to i586.

lsusb says my drive is a Prolific Technology, Inc. PL3507 ATAPI6 Bridge. I'll attach a complete lsusb -vv output.

Bug 457941 seems the same bug to me.

(I leave it to you people at suse to officially change the status.)
