it's quite strange issue. after installation, on first boot, I've got very console running up (prompt shown, ready to login and work) but from second boot none contains promps and none is ready to login and work.

it might be somehow related to bug 443223 - console-kit crashing.

Please , try following at boot type debug,
than provide /var/log/messages

I know the source of problems with services and probably with shells inactive... jre 1.6.x from Sun with their broken /etc/init.d/jexec.
