Bugzilla – Bug 465692
Partitioner cannot get out of package install
Last modified: 2009-01-16 13:10:16 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.4) Gecko/2008103100 SUSE/3.0.4-4.5 Firefox/3.0.4 When checking "format / encrypt partition" in the partitioner, it checks for missing packages. On my system, pam_mount was missing so the partitioner started the package management, requesting the OpenSUSE 11.1 DVD. Since I didn't have the media on hand, I clicked "Abort" on the "please insert media" popup. However, the popup re-appeared. Then I tried "Skip", with the same effect. I couldn't get out here, so I killed YaST. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 0. Remove pam_mount, remove all media + network 1. Start partitioner 2. Choose partition to format, including encryption 3. Wait for 'Insert media' popup Actual Results: Cannot get rid of popup Expected Results: Partitioner reports error and returns to overview.
