A week ago I've upgraded my development desktop from openSUSE 11.0 to 11.1. Browsing dmesg output today I found two kernel error reports related to reiserfs which seem to originate in the oracle process. The relevant portion of dmesg output is attached.

Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
Actual Results:
So far I do not know how to trigger the issue.

Expected Results:
no kernel bug reports in dmesg output.

any chance to exclude heci and nvidia modules for a while to see if this makes a difference? these are either binary only or external modules and may have issues which can perhaps be related with this problem

It seems that heci is actually a openSUSE-supplied kernel module - see below. I've unloaded it as you requested. This will probably stop the messages. I'll let you know whether this makes any difference.

$ rpm -qf  /lib/modules/2.6.27.7-9-default/updates/heci.ko
intel-iamt-heci-kmp-default-3.1.0.31_2.6.27.7_9.1-2.34
