NVIDIA repository for openSUSE 11.1 features drivers for kernel 2.6.27.18 - which is not yet released in the updates channel.  These were updated 2/23/09.

ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse/11.1/


Thus the driver is marked uninstallable for the distribution.

Why is this out of sync?

the nvidia repo is currently out-of-sync, as in "in the future". 

we prepare a kernel update for 11.1 currently and these are the drivers for it.
