We have a MacPro with 3 harddisks

On 1st HD: EFI partition and MacOS are installed.

On 3rd HD: OpenSuse is to be installed.

No chance to boot into openSuse

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install rEFIt
2. install OpenSuse on /dev/sdc2
3. reboot
Actual Results:
No operation system beside MacOS is shown in Refit menu!
We then tried to install GRUB in the MBR using the repair system. The note in the documentation, that this should not be done was found later - sidenote: please check your knowledgebase. Their are multiple how-tos for installing opensuse on mac

Now rEFIt even does not recognize the partitions anymore and shows multiple boot possibilities - most of them defunctional)

We had the impresion that rEFIt recognizes boot partitions on the 1st hdd only.

We then tried to reinstall openSuse by adding a partition to sda which was mounted as "boot" -> GRUb was able to start, but not able to find any operation system :(

Should work with 11.2 now. feel free to reopen if it doesn't.
