Description Adam Jimerson 2009-05-19 22:07:01 UTC
User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.10) Gecko/2009042700 SUSE/3.0.10-1.1.1 Firefox/3.0.10

When running the version of kompoZer from the repos 0.7.10 it constantly crashes I got this output from Konsole with I ran it

vendion@Big-O:~> kompozer
pure virtual method called
terminate called without an active exception
/usr/lib/kompozer/run-mozilla.sh: line 159: 13031 Aborted                 "$prog" ${1+"$@"}
vendion@Big-O:~>

Looking at kompoZer's main page this is a known problem with Linux distros, I got this from there homepage:
"Linux users: KompoZer 0.7.10 is not compatible with GTK 2.14 and higher, hence the crashes. Please have a look at KompoZer 0.8 alpha." This is obviously a known problem upstream. On their sourceforge page they have Fedora Core RPMs as well as the tarbells http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=170132&package_id=194013. Would it be possible to update the version in the repos from 0.7.10 to the 0.8 alpha 4 version?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install kompoZer
2. Run kompozer, make sure to click things and try and use it
3. Wait for the crash
Actual Results:
The program crashes

Expected Results:
It to not crash?

I know about this problem. I have tried to search for the correct chunk with the fix in the new version, but failed. Maybe update to a new version would be the best thing to do.
