Motherboard Gigabyte GA-7ZMMH BIOS-version 11b, AMD Athlon XP 2200+,
graphics adapter GeForce FX 5200 chip - PCI-card from XFX, crt Hansol 720E.

When I booted openSUSE 11.2 milestone 3 Gnome live-cd build 0148 / i686, Xserver tried to switch to runlevel 5, but failed. Earlier versions of openSUSE - from 10.3 to 11.2 milestone 2 had no problems doing so.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. booting from live-cd

Actual Results:  
boot process stays in runlevel 3

Expected Results:  
show the graphical desktop
