Description Ladislav Nesnera 2009-08-03 13:08:58 UTC
I often meet with situation when dhclient task is loaded and common items like IP address, NetMask, route are set well but name resolving doesn't work. Command dhcpcd -T returns expected values. Problem occurs at both devices (wlan0 and eth0 too).

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.1.1) Gecko/20090714 SUSE/3.5.1-1.1 Firefox/3.5.1

Reproducible: often

Steps to Reproduce:
1. connect to a network by knetworkmanager

Actual Results:
If name resolving doesn't work kill and start dhclient task helps often.

Expected Results:
It would be fine have a reconnect command at knetworkmanager and make DNS setting more steady.

KDE: 4.2.98 (KDE 4.2.98 (KDE 4.3 RC3)) "release 147"
