keyboard settings in openSUSE-DVD-Build0233-x86_64.iso
Last modified: 2009-09-06 14:14:36 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; es-ES; rv:1.9.1.2) Gecko/20090730 SUSE/3.5.2-2.4 Firefox/3.5.2 I have a laptop with a usb keyboard connected. Both keyboards are spanish. * keyboard settings default to english. * keyboard settings must be re-defined in gnome to "spanish" to get the correct layout (annoying) * keyboard settings cannot be set in kde (really annoying) For now i have set this in xorg.conf: Section "ServerFlags" Option "AutoAddDevices" "off" Option "AllowMouseOpenFail" "on" Option "ZapWarning" "on" EndSection Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Please attach - /etc/sysconfig/keyboard - /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/11-keymap.fdi - /var/log/Xorg.0.log *seperately* in *plain/text* format. Then set the status back to ASSIGNED -- thanks.
