Last modified: 2009-09-21 14:32:51 UTC
Created attachment 318957 [details] y2logs as y2logs.tgz User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/4.0; User-agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; http://bsalsa.com) ; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; FDM) I have installed a minimal system with xfce to a notebook Toshiba Satellite S3000-601. I want to shutdown or to restart the system with the xfce logoff menu command. If I try to restart the system I get a error message: "Can not restart system org.freedesktop.hal.power-managment.reboot auth_admin <--(action,result)" The system returns to the login screen. If I try to shutdown the system I get a error message: "Can not shutdown system org.freedesktop.hal.power-managment.shutdown auth_admin_keep_always <--(action,result)" The system returns to the login screen. I have to use the console superuser mode to halt or to restart the system (halt or reboot command). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to restart or halt the system with the xfce logoff menu command. Actual Results: Shutdown or restart of the system with xfce logoff menu command does not work. Works only with console with superuser mode (halt or reboot command). Expected Results: Shutdown or restart of the system with xfce logoff menu command should work.
