Is this fixed with the update to KDE 4.3.4 ?
This is still present with openSUSE 11.2 KDE 4.3.4 according to Comment 54 in the upstream bug report.
*** Bug 556084 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
MArked as fixed upstream with the comment "Anyway, it's fixed with disabling direct rendering in kwin options..."
New upstream bug opened https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229695
Still apparently present with KDE 4.4 and openSUSE 11.2.
The initial reported fixes are now part of openSUSE 11.3 the newly linked upstream bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=229695 is still open. Therefor I close this bug as UPSTREAM.
