on a sony vaio VGN-C24OE brightness keys don't work, volume work fine

i use kde 4

xev recognize key

KeyRelease event, serial 34, synthetic NO, window 0x4600001,
    root 0x10b, subw 0x0, time 39518976, (-503,636), root:(88,661),
    state 0x0, keycode 232 (keysym 0x1008ff03, XF86MonBrightnessDown), same_screen YES,                                                                         
    XLookupString gives 0 bytes:                                                
    XFilterEvent returns: False                                                 

KeyPress event, serial 36, synthetic NO, window 0x4600001,
    root 0x10b, subw 0x0, time 39519954, (-503,636), root:(88,661),

xbacklight work fine

I'm helping with a cleanup of KDE bugs that are from obsolete versions or may no longer be valid. This is so the developers can focus on developing openSUSE 11.3
