Description Bart Whiteley 2009-11-06 16:16:02 UTC
I can't move (to change the order) items in the Window List panel applet. This worked in the milestone builds, and possibly even with RC1. However, in RC2 they can't be moved.
Comment 1 Vincent Untz 2009-11-12 10:16:34 UTC
Hrm, I'm 99.9% sure nothing changed in this area, so there's no reason for this to not work again :/
Comment 2 Forgotten User bjrImjCDxY 2009-12-05 20:53:57 UTC
i cannot move them either in the final. this worked in 11.1

to be honest, this is the only thing that prevents me from using opensuse. this feature (easily moving items on the window list) is one of the crucial features of a linux desktop for me.
hope this will be solved soon. i miss opensuse ) no other latest linux distro with gnome has this bug.

I'm nearly sure this is the same issue as https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=607508

yes, possibly. looks like that.
however i personally do not understand how to resolve it. and do not understand why i do not have this issue on latest fedora, ubuntu and mint.
Comment 7 Vincent Untz 2010-01-20 10:57:31 UTC
I have no good explanation for this either...
Comment 8 Grzegorz Golawski 2010-01-20 16:20:52 UTC
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=607508 has been fixed in gtk:
http://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/?id=3d9d002bed4ec90505a5a65665f5d6de36ad6f67

Maybe this patch also fixes this bug?
Comment 9 Vincent Untz 2010-01-20 16:55:05 UTC
I know. I've asked someone to put the patch in the gtk2 package of GNOME:STABLE:2.28, which will be pushed as online update.
Comment 10 Vincent Untz 2010-01-21 15:31:45 UTC
Patch is in G:S:2.28 and will be pushed as online update.
