Description Lars Müller 2009-11-20 21:06:09 UTC
The section "Starting the OpenSSH SSH Daemon (sshd)" is part of "Update" but this change applies to new installs.

In the case of an upgrade the boot state of the ssh daemon (enabled|disabled) is not changed.

This is also falid for the current release-notes-openSUSE package
(11.2.4-1.1.1) and

Comment 3 Karl Eichwalder 2009-11-23 06:52:58 UTC
My idea was that this affects only "old" users who are familiar with openSUSE and thus updating their system somehow. New users installing from scratch are not affected because they are not familiar with the way it used to be. But I frankly admit that that's a special interpretation of "update".

We must talk about appropriate section titles and if something has a broader coverage I should probable add internal references. My proposal (to be discussed on an openSUSE ML, I guess):

. New Features and Essential Changes

. Issues During New Installation

. Issues During Upgrading the System

. Miscellaneous Technical Details
Comment 4 Karl Eichwalder 2009-11-24 13:31:54 UTC
I moved it to the General section (in SVN).
Comment 5 Karl Eichwalder 2010-01-13 12:12:10 UTC
