Fresh install of 11.2. What I did next:

1. copy madwifi
2. install it
3. select in Yast network is controlled by NM
4. reboot
5. run KNM, select network to connect, enter password, etc.
6. I get connection, I could go to router webpage, any webpage else were unavailable

...

Have you online updated?  Have you got the Nov 18 2009 fix to bnc#553908 in NetworkManager-kde4? 

If you have please make sure the checkboxes on IP Address->Routing, especially 'Use only for resources on this network' are not checked.

If this doesn't work try deleting and recreating the connection after applying the update.

Reopen if these steps don't help.
