[kupdateapplet] "Dummy patch for applet state" update notification
Last modified: 2010-12-10 10:35:23 UTC
User-Agent: Opera/9.80 (Windows NT 5.1; U; sk) Presto/2.2.15 Version/10.00 I keep getting this update notification "dummy patch for applet state". It shows no other info. I actually tried to install the update but it justs shows "updating" without ever really doing anything. Zypper lu doesn't show any update Note: None of factory repositories i have selected/enabled. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
Does clicking "Check Now" solve the issue?
(In reply to comment #1) > Does clicking "Check Now" solve the issue? No, it doesn´t. If i noticed correct, it always appears when i use "zypper ref" and then "zypper up" commands.
Hello, when the applet shows that there are some updates, but I do not apply them, then after restarting my computer, I use to get this dummy patch. When I click on it (in the list of available patches), I get 2 or 3 messages saying that there are new updates for my system. So I close the original window with the dummy patch and open a new one with real patches. If it was done purposly this way and the dummy patches have some meaning, there could be an option to apply them automaticly, because they are annoying.
Any progres here or news for 11.3?
