I'm installing opensuse 11.3 M2 on a test system with two video cards
for testing purposes.

After selecting packages for installation and letting proceed, I came
back to the system to finish the installation and instead of the configure
system screen, the screen is black and the mouse is visibile.

yast is running:
    y2base installation ("continue") qt --noborder --auto-fonts --fullscreen

video cards:
0f:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G94 [Quadro FX 1800] (rev a1)
28:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G71 [Quadro FX 1500] (rev a1)

I am attaching the YaST2/y2log.
I captured all log files from /var/log and can provide them on request.

I rebooted the system from vt2 and the system came back up into the same state.

This appears to be some Xorg issue.  
I completed the installation from vt2 using 'yast2 installation'.
Upon reboot, kdm and Xorg are running, but the graphics screen is still
black with only the mouse visible (and moveable).

I removed the second card 'G71 [Quadro FX 1500]' and restarted the system.
Xorg comes up with the kdm login screen, but the colors are psychedelic.

I shutdown, replaced 'G94 [Quadro FX 1800]' with 'G71 [Quadro FX 1500]'
and rebooted.  The system came up normal.

Sounds like a duplicate of Bug #581568 or Bug #577140. Apparently the support
for G94 (Quadro FX 1800) is broken.

Would it be possible to provide the required information according
to our HOWTO
