Last modified: 2010-04-19 13:34:08 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.2) Gecko/20100317 SUSE/3.6.2-1.1 Firefox/3.6.2 Unable to boot PCs from 11.3 M5 64-bit DVD. I haven't yet tried 32-bit version. This has happened on two different machines. Previous milestones were OK. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Boot machine with 11.3 M5 64-bit DVD in the drive. 2. Select "boot from hard disk" option from the menu 3. Actual Results: Following message appears: Booting from local disk . . . Boot failed: press another key to retry . . . Expected Results: GRUB menu should appear.
I've just checked the 32-bit M5 DVD and got the same problem.
Note: this bug is also reported as #596672.
Note: #596672 is for the i586 NET install CD. It seems as if this bug affects DVDs and NET install CDs.
