Description Klaus Kämpf 2010-04-20 07:04:06 UTC
$summary causes a 60 second delay in booting

The requested file does exist in /lib/firmware/2.6.34-rc3-3-desktop/radeon though
Comment 1 Stefan Dirsch 2010-04-20 07:15:11 UTC
This is in initrd, right? Still SR #38050. :-( But you can already test if you use the package from Base:System.

Comment 2 Klaus Kämpf 2010-04-20 09:38:20 UTC
Thx. Upgrading to mkinitrd-2.5.10-68.2.x86_64 from Base:System makes the error and delay go away.
But boot.msg still shows

<3>[ 3.033332] r600_cp: Failed to load firmware "radeon/R600_rlc.bin"
<3>[ 3.033342] [drm:r600_startup] *ERROR* Failed to load firmware!

and I need "selinux=0" during boot now.
