Bugzilla – Bug 602940
kde logout screen "restart"-option for grub has no effect
Last modified: 2010-05-05 17:53:15 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US) AppleWebKit/533.4 SUSE/5.0.375.0-2.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/5.0.375.0 Safari/533.4 When I choose to restart my pc from kde, and I choose to boot from the drop-down-menu another grub-entry (like windows), this has no effect. I am not 100% sure, if this happens on a fresh opensuse-11.2 install, but it happens with the obs kde4-factory packages. And I write this report in hope, that this will be fixed for opensuse-11.3 with kde-4.4. This was always a nice feature of kde: you did not need to wait on reboot and pass the right moment in grub, so that the wanted system is started. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
