It is possible to uninstall the redland backend, which is required at runtime to load ontologies, while the virtuoso backend is used to store semantic data.

kdelibs4 should have a hard dependency on soprano-backend-redland.

Correction: kdebase4-runtime should have the dependency.  Have updated KDE:Distro:Stable to test.
