Bugzilla – Bug 651910
NSS Module Internals: ref Dynamic Linking
Last modified: 2011-06-06 13:27:04 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; pl-PL; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-0.7.1 Ant.com Toolbar 2.0.1 Firefox/3.6.12 The text "Dynamic Linking" in glibc-html wants to be a reference. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. zypper 'install' 'glibc-html'; 2. desktop-launch 'file:///usr/share/doc/glibc/NSS-Module-Internals.html#NSS-Module-Internals' Actual Results: 2. those interested in this topic should read about Dynamic Linking. Expected Results: 2. those interested in this topic should read about [Dynamic Linking]. (The text should be a reference to some readable resource defining dynamic linking.) I cannot tell at the moment what the defining resource should be. What happens when the OS does not support dynamic linking? (Out of curiosity, of course.)
Please report such bugs upstream to the glibc developers.
A vendor recommendation is required for reporting bugs upstream to the glibc developers. A separate recommendation is required for each bug reported, unless the reporter is also a maintainer.
Ad #2: I'm not aware of such a policy for the glibc bugzilla for these kind of bugs. Please report upstream.
