User-Agent:       Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; pl-PL; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-0.7.1 Ant.com Toolbar 2.0.1 Firefox/3.6.12

The text "Dynamic Linking" in glibc-html wants to be a reference.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
  1. zypper 'install' 'glibc-html';
  2.
desktop-launch 'file:///usr/share/doc/glibc/NSS-Module-Internals.html#NSS-Module-Internals'

Actual Results:
  2. those interested in this topic should read about Dynamic Linking.

Expected Results:
  2. those interested in this topic should read about [Dynamic Linking].
(The text should be a reference to some readable resource defining dynamic linking.)

I cannot tell at the moment what the defining resource should be.
What happens when the OS does not support dynamic linking? (Out of curiosity, of course.)
Comment 1 Philipp Thomas 2010-11-09 17:25:41 UTC
Please report such bugs upstream to the glibc developers.
Comment 2 Christopher Yeleighton 2010-11-10 08:14:34 UTC
A vendor recommendation is required for reporting bugs upstream to the glibc developers. A separate recommendation is required for each bug reported, unless the reporter is also a maintainer.
Comment 4 Andreas Jaeger 2011-06-06 13:27:04 UTC
Ad #2: I'm not aware of such a policy for the glibc bugzilla for these kind of bugs. Please report upstream.
