Bugzilla – Bug 653500
fish:// Not connecting in K or D
Last modified: 2011-02-17 07:13:47 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.2.12) Gecko/20101026 SUSE/3.6.12-1.1 Firefox/3.6.12 ssh from the terminal is fine! Using Dolphin or Konqueror Connection proceeds to password request (which is set in the config's) Enter password and OK But I just get a continual 'connecting...' FYI: If I switch OS > 11.3 and try to fish the server, it works. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
What do you mean by "If I switch OS > 11.3 and try to fish the server, it works. ". 11.4 is larger than 11.3. Do you mean it works with openSUSE 11.3 and KDE from KDE:Distro:Factory?
What I mean is. I was trying to illustrate that the sever settings were fine. So yes, I mean it works with 11.3 kde release45 actually. But 11.4 M3 - fish is not working But ssh in the terminal does
1.) Please not the checkbox "This information provides the needed insformation below the comment field.) 2.) Does it work with a more recent Milestone with KDE 4.6? If not do you maybe have a file "identity" in your ~/.ssh directory?
Christian I can't get to this for about a week.
Ping!
Christian, I moved on. I'll see how we go in the next Milestone
I confirm this. fish:// doesnt connect in Dolphin. It asks pasword but doesnt connect. SFTP protocoll works. We had same bug in 11.3 RC versions :D Im using 11.4 RC1
I dont have a file "identity" in my ~/.ssh directory.
I have no "identity" file and have this problem too. And sftp:// doesn't work too, saying, that password is incorrect, while it is actually correct.
We had same bug in 11.3 RC versions: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615694
This is fixed in latest Factory packages.
