The menu displayed when clicking the network manager icon in the taskbar has an english entry "enable network" in a German language installation (from 64bit-DVD).

It's translated by the KDE project, please report it there (bugs.kde.org, bug component, "translation"/i18n).

According to the KDE folks, this has been fixed in more recent sources. Could you check that or even update the sources to the current upstream version (well, that could be dangerous just moments before the intended release...)?

This bug, originally submitted when 11.4 had only reached RC1, is still valid. Any chance it will be fixed (in the Updates repo; it may have been fixed in repos providing more recent KDE4 releases) before 11.4 runs out of service?

Sorry that here no update happened, but 11.4 is no llonger supported and this is fixed with 12.1+
