As usual, pulseaudio breaks sound on my system (nVidia MCP61). After starting KDE, Phonon shows an error message that the device (HDA NVidia (AD198x Analog)) is not working. KMix only shows a single strange slider, channel it muted.

Pulseaudio has never been working properly on any of my 3 systems. It's definitely not ready to be installed by default.
