Description leonardo silveira 2011-03-21 23:09:07 UTC

if i use the 'sensors' command line i can see both temperatures; but on applet only hddtemp appeared; the "kernel i2c sensors" give none of the temps showed on command line to me

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download, install and add the applet to the gnome panel
2. try to select some temperature
3. nothing happens,
Actual Results:
only one temperatuer option instead 3

Expected Results:
3 temperature sensors: one from hddtemp, 2 from cpu/chipset

that applet seems to be pretty old; the 32 bit version seems to have a newer applet which works. either fix the defective applet or add the good one to the x64 tree

when that package will be available for 64 bits? it also resolves my problem:

http://sensors-applet.sourceforge.net/

i'm pretty sure that one works

Hi
I've fixed the sensors-applet package;

Test package for 11.4 is here;
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/malcolmlewis:/branches:/GNOME:/Community/openSUSE_11.4/

Created request id 65263 to the GNOME:Community repository;
https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/65263

Tested on 11.4 i586 and SLED 11 SP1 x86_64.

Can you please confirm all OK?

Everything is perfect now, thanks a lot!

i put the sensors it the top bar. that package substitutes the other one easily, i can see all 3 sensors with only one applet.

you are the hero of the day, ;)

once it gets added to the GNOME repo that bug will get completely resolved.

Hi
Fixes accepted in GGNOME:Community repository and also push the fix upstream on
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=3254138&group_id=128538&atid=711980

So will close this bug.
