network works;the network manager icon shows a white cross on red
Last modified: 2011-06-15 20:19:32 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/4.0.1 openSUSE-NET-x86_64-Build0007-Media.iso: I will add a screenshot. The network manager is not able to find a network interface. That tells me a little popup when I go with the mouse over the littel red box with the withe cross in the system tray. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Expected Results: A working network.

Teh creasy is that the network works. It is only the icon that shows the wrong. Network works!
So set it invalid. Thanks for your report.
Uhhh,.. no not so really invalid. The severity is set wrong it should be minor, because the described icon is still there. May be that it is resolving itself with an update to a newer KDE version, but until now it is just there. I´ve also make an update to the system with the 11.4 repros(only the pre activated). The icon keeps there.
still there in build 19
It should be the knetworkmanager's issue.
