Bugzilla – Bug 726813
kde crashes if u try to add mini-apps (weather) to the desktop and u dont use standart window decoration
Last modified: 2011-10-31 09:33:11 UTC
first, if u change the window decoration to a non-standart theme it dont get in use if u press apply, u need to close settings and open a new window again second, if u dont use standart window decoration and try to add mini-apps (in my case weather) to the desktop kde crashes
A backtrace would be useful, but I guess this is a duplicate of bug 722133
here is the backtrace: Application: Plasma-Desktop-Umgebung (kdeinit4), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb5776710 (LWP 1765))] Thread 3 (Thread 0xa91dcb70 (LWP 1767)): #0 0xb5aa8c96 in clock_gettime () from /lib/librt.so.1 #1 0xb6d04b85 in do_gettime (frac=0xa91dbf70, sec=0xa91dbf68) at tools/qelapsedtimer_unix.cpp:123 #2 qt_gettime () at tools/qelapsedtimer_unix.cpp:140 #3 0xb6dd70a6 in QTimerInfoList::updateCurrentTime (this=0x8ac398c) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_unix.cpp:339 #4 0xb6dd740a in QTimerInfoList::timerWait (this=0x8ac398c, tm=...) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_unix.cpp:442 #5 0xb6dd5c63 in timerSourcePrepareHelper (src=<optimized out>, timeout=0xa91dc07c) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:136 #6 0xb6dd5cfd in timerSourcePrepare (source=0x8ac3958, timeout=<optimized out>) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:169 #7 0xb59ef44c in g_main_context_prepare () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0 #8 0xb59f0207 in ??
