User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:8.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/8.0

I have two GMail accounts in Evolution, A and B; B is a Gnome "online account." When I created a search folder listing B as one of the "specific folders," the resulting search folder displays messages from A and none from B. Both accounts are defined as IMAP+ in Evolution.

(I don't know if the fact that B is a gnome online account has anything to do with it.)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Define a GMail account in Evolution (A).
2. Define another GMail account as a Gnome online account (B).
3. Define a search folder including B.
Actual Results:
The messages displayed in the search folder are from A.

Expected Results:
The messages displayed should be from B.

can't reproduce here with 12.1.

Did you add column 'source' in search folder just to confirm whether messages are from account A or account B ?

I meant column 'location'
Comment 3 David Walker 2012-01-31 22:19:49 UTC
I just did this. I'll attach screenshots of the result:

1.jpg - Properties of a search folder called OtherInboxes. It searches only
          one folder, dhwalker96@gmail.com:INBOX.

2.jpg - The list of messages in OtherInboxes.

3.jpg - The list of messages in dhwprof@gmail.com's inbox, the same as in
          OtherInboxes.

4.jpg - The list of messages in dhwalker96@gmail.com's inbox, they're not in
          OtherInboxes.

This seems to have gone away with the latest update to evolution (3.2.3). I guess this can be closed now.
Comment 9 Tomáš Chvátal 2017-08-12 18:32:10 UTC
12.1 release is out of support. As evolution issues are rather upstream if still reproducible please report to upstream on bugs.gnome.org.
