Description Ricardo Varas 2012-02-19 18:34:33 UTC
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:10.0.1) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.1

One example is that when I want to add a new repo (specifying the URL or community), everything goes visually OK until the Import Untrusted GNUPG Key dialog appears. Then, its size is so small that I cannot see the Cancel and Trust buttons so I need to resize the dialog myself. Although it does not affect the normal workflow, every user would expect to see the buttons without further interaction.

I think this has nothing to do with the Yast2 dialog size also being small, because if I start with a larger (even full screen size) Yast2 dialog, the Import key dialog is still too small to see the buttons.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Yast2.
2. Click Software Repositories.
3. Click Add, then Community Repositories (could by Specify URL as well).
4. Choose any repo and click OK. Import key dialog should show and no button seen.
Actual Results:
Import Untrusted Key dialog must be manually resized in order to see the buttons.

Expected Results:
Import Untrusted Key dialog and Trust/Cancel buttons visible without any extra action from user. That means, buttons visible as soon as the dialog appears.

Actually it's not an issue with every YaST2 dialog, only the ones related to Software Management and Software Repositories.
Comment 2 Ricardo Varas 2012-02-19 18:50:08 UTC
This issue I have been able to reproduce only in Gnome, have not tested with KDE.

openSUSE 12.2, Milestone 1, running KDE 4.8, i was not able to reproduce this under my Vbox machine. The "Import Untrusted Key" dialog is displayed well without any need of resizing.
Comment 4 Ricardo Varas 2012-03-01 18:11:43 UTC
So the issue has to happen in Gnome only. Have you had the chance to try that out in your VM? Thanks.
Comment 5 Ursan Marius Bogdan 2012-03-01 20:37:34 UTC
Yes, it seems that only Gnome has this issue.
