Description Wolfgang Rosenauer 2012-10-15 06:13:02 UTC
After every boot of my (not so weak) machine KDM fails to accept my password/passphrase for login.
After observing the behaviour a bit I found that KDM's passwort input field does not keep up with all entered characters. That happens always for the first input no matter if the boot is completely finished (when logging in after a few minutes after bootup).

No idea what holds the keyboard input from being recognized but every second attempt succeeds immediately so it seems KDM comes only up to speed after some input. (Strange bugreport but it's definitely true here).

Hardware specs:
AMD Phenom Quad-Core 2600
8 GB RAM
so it should be able to process some keyboard input ;-)

Unfortunatelly a known (and now also long standing) issue.
