It often takes some time for Firefox to notice connectivity changes. What delay is between steps 4 and 6?

The connection comes never again till i close Firefox and start it again.

I've noticed, that it comes after standby of at least 2-3 hours. For a short standby's if i close laptop, wait till it goes in standby and open it again, then works as it should.

I can reproduce this issue every time I send my laptop in standby and wake it again.

Same for the 13.1 Milestone 3

This issue is reproducable on laptops, when they go to standby with open Firefox.

This is automated batch bugzilla cleanup.

The openSUSE 42.1 changed to end-of-life (EOL [1]) status. As such
it is no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any
further security or bug fix updates.
As a result we are closing this bug.

If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
openSUSE, or you can still observe it under openSUSE Leap 15.0, please
feel free to reopen this bug against that version (see the "Version"
component in the bug fields), or alternatively open
a new ticket.

Thank you for reporting this bug and we are sorry it could not be fixed
during the lifetime of the release.
