Description Bruno Friedmann 2013-05-27 09:46:57 UTC
Trying samb4 rpm packages and following
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_AD_DC_HOWTO

There's no samba-tool binary in the packages.

Moreover, the package build a nmbd binary which is announced as merged in smbd ?
It look like the .spec need a rewrite to use the new waf samba building way.

The Samba package shipped with openSUSE 12.3 does not support operation as an Active Directory style Domain controller. Please see bnc#794744 for details.

David, not only openSUSE 12.3 package. The whole stack and way the samba4 package in samba:Testing is done, is wrong.
Too bad to discover that the most useful feature of samba4 is (and will not during a long time) not supported.

Good luck for selling SLES12 without it.
