Description Mark Gray 2013-09-19 18:08:27 UTC
During boot of Beta1 the x86-64 installer and x86-64 live-KDE both hang displaying "Loading Kernel". Milestone4 works beautifully on this Haswell chip laptop (I am playing kpat using Milestone4 x86-64 Live-KDE as we speak.

On further reflection, it occurs to me that this bug could be grub-efi and not the kernel (it is after all the one who prints "Loading Kernel") Like I said before Milestone4 Live KDE works like a charm (Just got the computer on Monday, so didn't bother installing Milestone4 since Beta1 was due out.)

It looks like it is a duplicate of Bug #841426 (I defer to him since I JUST got this computer and I don't want to wreck my Win8 install until after HP stops issuing new BIOS updates (the only reason I keep M$ os'es on any of my computers)).
