Description Susanne Oberhauser-Hirschoff 2013-10-24 12:18:06 UTC
When I select "Install" in the grub menu, the system starts to lad the kernel and the it freezes with a message "Loading Kernel..."

For this type of hardware that is a blocker.
Comment 2 Susanne Oberhauser-Hirschoff 2013-10-24 12:25:37 UTC
I've tried both UEFI and non-UEFI, this is unrelated to that.
12.3 will boot and start the installation, with uefi.
Comment 3 Stephan Kulow 2013-10-24 13:07:54 UTC
non-UEFI does not even have a grub, so you *do* have the same UEFI problem as the ship stopper marks

duh disable secure boot != disable uefi.
I agree this is a duplicate of bug 841426
Comment 5 Susanne Oberhauser-Hirschoff 2013-10-24 14:02:31 UTC
duh disable secure boot != disable uefi.
I confirm this is a duplicate of bug 841426 :
after selecting legacy boot the install begins.
